**Salary Classification**: Wardsperson Year 1-2
**Remuneration**: $30.04 - $30.25 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wardsperson to support our Emergency Department through providing a high standard of safe and courteous patient services and transport support and the provision of a clean, healthy and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
**DUTIES**:
Take appropriate action to meet needs of the unit, assisting others when help is required
Organise and perform stated duties proficiently with a minimum of direct supervision
Demonstrate flexibility that meets changing needs of the unit or work environment
Liaise with clinical, non-clinical and relevant stakeholders efficiently when performing all duties.
Maintain a high quality level of customer focused service

**ABOUT YOU**:
Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently as required during high periods of demand and activity.
Commitment to providing a professional customer service to patients, staff and members of the public in a timely manner.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of manual handling principles.
Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
