**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wardsperson to support our Emergency Department through providing a high standard of safe and courteous patient services and transport support and the provision of a clean, healthy and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

**DUTIES**:

- Take appropriate action to meet needs of the unit, assisting others when help is required
- Organise and perform stated duties proficiently with a minimum of direct supervision
- Demonstrate flexibility that meets changing needs of the unit or work environment
- Liaise with clinical, non-clinical and relevant stakeholders efficiently when performing all duties.
- Maintain a high quality level of customer focused service

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently as required during high periods of demand and activity.
- Commitment to providing a professional customer service to patients, staff and members of the public in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of manual handling principles.
- Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
