**About the role**
TAFE NSW has two exciting opportunities for motivated individuals with current experience in Animal Care to join our team as an Education Support Officer located at the following Campus’:

- 1 x permanent part-time (21 hours per week) Education Support Officer of Animal Care at Yallah Campus
- 1 x permanent part-time (14 hours per week) Education Support Officer of Animal Care at Goulburn Campus

Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs. You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment. As a part of this role, you will be required to work around large and small animals, and help support students in an online forum.

**Note**: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- A minimum of Certificate II or equivalent in one or more of the following: Animal Care, and/or Equine, and/or Agriculture.
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the Agriculture and Animal Care industry.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
