**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join ActiveXchange and help us focus on growing our intelligence and insights by supporting the success of our clients and partners.

You will be working directly with our Data and Tech Team to achieve the company’s objectives, as part of a small and quickly growing team. This is a multi-disciplinary role, best summarized as 70% data analytics; 20% relationship management; 10% project management. You will be an ambitious and passionate individual who wants to develop within a role, while being accountable for key components of a fast growth business that continues to break ground in an exciting industry.

You will be running sessions with clients on a regular basis to ensure they have the confidence to take planning, investment and operational decisions off the back of the insights provided by ActiveXchange. You will also be undertaking detailed analysis to support the Research and Development Plan, testing a range of hypotheses to help further the industry in making data driven decisions that shape more active and healthy communities.

- You should have a natural ability and passion to work with statistics - you should want to explore the meaning behind the numbers and how data can be used to understand and shape the development of populations.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills which are needed for both internal team members and presenting to our clients.
- You are detail oriented and organized with the ability to develop new and improved processes.
- You will have a strong interest in recreation and/or sport and experience of using a range of community facilities is advantageous.

**Experience / Skills Required**:

- Must have exceptional and proven Excel ability (advanced formula, pivot tables and macros for efficient and accurate data analysis).
- SQL experience, including ability to develop complex queries.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python and R is advantageous.
- Experience of working with CRM and/or CDP datasets is advantageous.
- Experience of working with geospatial datasets is advantageous.
- Ability to present data models, methodology and insights to clients in a professional format.
- Ability to explain analysis (sometimes that is advanced) in a simple and logical way, in order to communicate effectively with individuals who do not have a data background.
- Ability to interpret numbers and proactively identify and explore new and relevant hypotheses for further testing.
- Ability to undertake ad hoc analysis and scenario testing to support clients, often with short turnaround times.
- Ability with the team to develop hypotheses related to facility use and participation of different types of residents and populations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and work within a fast-moving dynamic environment.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
