Claims Advisor

At Suncorp Group, we believe in the power of our team to provide support and understanding to people during some of their most challenging times. We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Advisor to join the Industrial Deafness claims team to manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims.

This is 12-month contract role offering a hybrid work environment**.**

**What you’ll do**
- Manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness workers compensation claims
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop relationships with the providers to facilitate in early contact, manage the claim process and resolution of ID claims
- Manage relationships with Corporate clients and brokers, in relation to Corporate aligned Industrial Deafness claims
- Process requests which expedite claims management within timeframes
- Finalise claim in a timely manner;
- Provide updates to Injured Workers/Employers/Brokers in accordance with our SLA
- Diarise claims reviewed for follow up and further advice/action if needed
- The provision of excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to direct and collaboratively work with Third Party Providers;
- Adopt a continuous improvement philosophy.

**What you’ll bring**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of time management and organisation skills
- Excellent understanding/appreciation of Workers Compensation Legislation and its systems and processes
- Industry knowledge and understanding of the legal practices and processes
