**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced Vacation Care Program Manager for North Sydney (Grandstand) who will be responsible for the day-to-day organization, management, and leadership of our Vacation Care program, including but not limited to the following:
- Grow, manage, and lead a team of educators.
- Manage day to day operations.
- Provide quality education and care services for children and families.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with the National Law and Regulations.
- Ensure budget is well maintained, including staffing levels and spending.
- Fostering positive relationships with the school community.
- Management of key stakeholder relationships
The position will be 38 hours per week during vacation care and 2 hours term time.
**Essential requirements for this position are**:
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or School Aged Care
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills;
- Proven success in service compliance and leading the program and practice
- A current first-aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training and child protection training or willingness to undertake training in this area
- The ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families.
- Ability to work and contribute to a team
- Passion for furthering your own professional development with Gowrie NSW
- The ability to act as Nominated Supervisor
