**Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Finance, the purpose of this role is to provide end to end support of project accounting requirements, reporting and analysis on project expenses. The role is a key support function in ensuring the accuracy of financials and report to drive better business decisions.

**More specifically your main responsibilities will include**
- Provide support and assistance to Manager and Senior Manager Portfolio Finance, and actively contribute to the Finance team.
- Ownership of process integrity around project journals, cost centre creation and closures, and budget management of in-flight projects.
- Ownership of project capitalisation processes and amortisation management and forecasting.
- Ownership of integrity of intangible assets and end to end support for the associated models.
- Analyse and report monthly project expenses and generate reports for Finance teams.
- Review of Portfolio forecast, preparation of burn rate analysis and identifying forecast opportunities.
- Provide Finance with relevant financial information and ensure management reporting, investor reporting, statutory reporting, tax, internal audit, and external audit requirements are met.

**What will you bring to this role**
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Ideally at least 3 years accounting experience as a business, finance, or cost analyst.
- Experience in management reporting and planning.
- Experience in producing reports, analysis, and commentary for management.
- Advanced Excel with Word and PowerPoint

Your experience in process/project implementation together with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 Smart View (Essbase and Hyperion, SAP Business Intelligence (My BI4) Business Objects Skills and PowerBI skills would be well regarded.

You are a good communicator with collaborative working style and can easily build relationships with stakeholders across the business. You a confident to challenge the status quo and present alternative ways to solving problems. You manage your own time, priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in the quality of your work. With the analytical mind set you distil large amounts of data, views and options and deliver clear conclusions to your stakeholders
