**Role Summary**: We are seeking a skilled tradesman with Boilermaker qualifications and Rigging tickets to join our team. This position involves the installation of architectural stairs in commercial settings, emphasising precision and detail in a non-traditional boilermaker role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Site Preparation**:

- Drilling into concrete to prepare for stair installation.
- Utilising various rigging techniques and equipment to move stair components to designated levels.
- **Installation**:

- Reading architectural and detail drawings, adhering to QA
- Erecting stairs across multiple floors, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Priming surfaces where applicable
- Performing mínimal welding tasks as required for assembly or adjustments.

**Qualifications**:

- Must hold a Boilermaker qualification.
- Rigging tickets are essential for the safe handling and installation of stair components.

**Skills & Attributes**:

- **Problem Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges on-site.
- **Process-Oriented**: Comfortable with methodical and detailed installation processes.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Keen eye for the aesthetics and functionality of finished products.
- **Physical Fitness**: Capable of performing labor-intensive tasks in a commercial construction environment.

**Additional Information**:
**Location**: All work is based within the Melbourne CBD.

**Role Type**: This role diverges from conventional boilermaker duties, focusing more on installation, problem-solving, and process management rather than heavy fabrication. Experience on large construction sites is a must.

**Hours**: 6am-2pm, meal break included + OT.

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
