We are seeking a casual Common Area and Pool Caretaker to join our team one day a week, on Thursday.

Previous experience in a similar handyperson or pool maintenance/grounds keeping role, in a commercial or resort setting preferred but not necessary as training will be provided.

**What we're looking for**
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the building's public areas, amenities, and grounds.
- Able to follow direction, work without supervision and demonstrate initiative to complete job tasks within given time frames.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to interact positively with guests and residents
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate common power tools and equipment

**What you'll be doing**
- Ensuring the resort's outdoor and BBQ areas, including pathways and common spaces, are well-kept and presentable
- Co-ordination of rubbish skips and bins
- Cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool, including water testing.
- Performing minor maintenance and repairs as required
- Some Gardening skills required for the general presentation common area gardens
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Must have own transport and reliability is essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.25 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
