ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a great opportunity for a competent and experienced Events Specialist to take accountability for managing and delivering events and engagement opportunities in this full-time, 12-month role. The events form an integral part of our member engagement activity that supports the CA ANZ strategic objective to provide a world-class experience for our members whilst promoting the CA brand. This varied role will see you build and manage relationships with our members through the delivery of events and activities in QLD, managing member queries, and supporting members through the lifecycle of their member journey including celebrating and recognising key milestones. Your customer experience expertise, event delivery knowledge, and relationship management experience will be key to engaging with and delivering value to our membership.
Our team based in Brisbane forms part of an incredibly collaborative culture offering opportunities for involvement in projects and innovative initiatives, in addition:
**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- End-to-end face-to-face, virtual and hybrid events across a diverse range of topics, member segments, and career stages. Including member events and in-house events for external bookings
- Creating marketing materials and campaigns including social media
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting local governance, member community groups and member-led committees
- Coordinating outbound member communication through multiple channels
- Utilising salesforce case management, reporting, and monitoring

ABOUT YOU
You have a flexible innovative mindset and are a self-starter who can embrace change. You pride yourself on delivering results through client/member engagement activities/events. You are a self-motivated, driven high performer with a ‘can-do’ attitude with strong communication skills. To be considered for this you will be able to demonstrate:

- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate, hospitality or membership environment
- Experience in organising events, including planning, logistics, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and communications
- Virtual events experience
- Relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders
- Impeccable problem-solving, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to be agile and adaptable in a transformational environment
