Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced 'BI Analyst'.

This position ensures that quality dashboards can be built within Finance to provide a high level of support to staff throughout the organisation. This involves investigating issues raised by end users of BI, liaising with owners of enterprise systems, ensuring issues are resolved, prioritising requests for new BI reports and overseeing the BI access process.

**Key Criteria**:

- Gather requirements, document and build dashboards that meet the needs of stakeholders (within and outside of Finance).
- Ensure that users of BI reporting have sufficient training, either face to face, or by conducting workshops and one on one familiarisation sessions, to utilise the information within the BI system to its fullest extent.
- Contribute to the implementation of new dashboards. This may involve testing, participating in release meetings, reviewing release documentation, assessing impacts, and managing the provision of access to multiple users.
- Ensure that all new reports are ready for promotion to production and
- are consistent with BI reporting design standards
- do not duplicate existing reports
- meet measures for query performance
- Create a framework for improvement by monitoring existing processes and recommending changes and ensure documentation about support and access processes is kept up to date
- Conduct complex analyses to respond to requests for information that cannot be met by existing reports. Monitor requests and suggest new reports or changes to existing reports to meet changed demand. Develop guidelines in naming and storage of information requests.
- Undertake special projects involving research and analysis using data sourced from multiple systems held within the organisation data warehouse.
