**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**
- Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement, Monday - Friday, 3 - 4 hours / day on a rotating roster
- After training, shifts may be scheduled in advanced, or you may be called in at short notice
- You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between **6 am - 5 pm,** shifts can be morning or afternoon

**You’ll be**
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes / Parcel Lockers where applicable.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
- Delivering parcels over the hatch / counter
- Processing outward mail

**About you**
- You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
- You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
