Exact Contracting are seeking a
**Project Surveyor** to join our team at Olympic Dam, South Australia to work on our tailings project.

We are interested in hearing from individuals with surveying qualifications and a hands-on approach.

**The Role**

Working at our tailings facility at Olympic Dam, you will be required to:

- Interpret plans and mark out projects;
- Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
- Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;
- Complete quantity estimation;
- Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
- Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;
- Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;
- Produce clear and concise technical reports;
- Produce economical and functional designs within time and budget constraints agreed with the client;
- Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required; and
- Project administration (as required).

**The successful applicant will have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying or equivalent;
- Current driver's licence;
- 2+ years experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);
- Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac;
- Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance;
- The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO capacity; and
- Current driver's licence.
