AHAs are also supported to attend ongoing formal professional development that aligns with career goals.
Community Rehabilitation AHAs are required to be flexible and work across different clinical areas, which allows the opportunity to build skills across a variety of specialties.
**A Day in the Life**
Community Rehabilitation offers client-centred, goal driven rehabilitation services to maximise a client's independence, health and well-being following acute illness or injury.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team you will provide direct clinical care to clients attending the Community Rehabilitation Centre or in their homes, as delegated by Allied Health Professionals. You will be involved in both individual and group therapy programs, working with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
This role also includes a variety of administrative and non-clinical duties.
**About You**
The role is based at the Kingston Centre, however travel to other Monash Health sites may be required. This role is advertised at 0.4EFT (30.4 hours per fortnight).

**What You need**:
- Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistant), or equivalent
- Greater than 3 years’ experience as an AHA in a hospital, rehabilitation or community setting
- Australian working rights
- Driver’s license
