**The opportunity**:
Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen; contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen operations.

**What will you do?**:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Ensure WHS compliance by conducting temperature and quality checks and managing cross-contamination
- Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace
- Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and waste management
- Show flexibility in working various shifts over a 7-day roster

**More about you**:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is preferred
- Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one
