We are looking for an **F&B Operations Superstar** who is experienced, knowledgeable and passionate. The F&B Operations Manager will manage various outlets across our hotel and it is imperative that the successful person can utilise their management skills and knowledge of hotel operations. This position is responsible for the planning, directing, controlling, and coordinating all Food & Beverage Service activities to achieve the profitability of the division through revenue maximisation and build a reputation of service excellence.

- Enthusiastically assist in implementing marketing/promotional strategies to improve guest service standards and revenue generation
- Deal effectively with difficult situations in the best interests of the Hotel owners, employees and guests. Handle difficult situations utilising conflict resolution and calm authority
- Liaise with Executive Chef and our Events Team to keep lines of communication open between food and beverage production and service areas of the hotel
- Conducts regular departmental communications briefings and meetings
- Ensures all necessary information is passed down to all staff members to keep them informed of the department’s activities to create open communication
- Audit operating standards and procedures to ensure they comply with company standards, and where necessary develop and implement new procedures to improve and or reduce potential risk to the business
- Through hands-on management, closely supervise team members’ performance of their duties and ensure this is in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensure the punctuality and appearance of all team members, making sure they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
- Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Food and Beverage Service employees through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
