**The Organisation**

Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful venues - Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager - Events to join our team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager - Events will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the venues’ concession outlets, backstage catering and corporate suites.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivery of bar/concession outlet food and beverage activities and services to the general public at events
- Preparation of outlets before events, ensuring all stock and equipment required is available and in working order
- Ensure backstage catering is delivered to a high standard and as per venue hirers’ requirements, including sourcing, costing and pricing of backstage riders
- Identifying food and beverage stock purchasing, storage, and disposal requirements for functions, corporate, backstage and bar/concessions outlets
- Managing the Point of Sale systems including: till re-programming, price changes, key pads and P.O.S. printers
- Forecasting sales for upcoming events based on past event sales to determine number of outlets and staffing requirements

**About you**
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and tech-savvy
- Demonstrated experience in running concession outlets in an entertainment and/or hospitality environment - you enjoy being hands-on
- Must be good at multi-tasking and enjoy the buzz of a fast-paced working environment
- Exceptional time management and administration skills
- Ability to build relationships with staff and clients
- A positive can-do attitude
- Flexibility with hours of work, as you will be regularly required to work outside normal business hours
