Description:

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our team and take ownership of electrical maintenance across our site and office facilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about keeping workplace infrastructure safe, efficient and compliant. The role will be Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm with the opportunity of weekend OT, which is optional.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and reactive electrical maintenance across office buildings and factory infrastructure.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting systems, power distribution, office equipment and factory machinery, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and minimizing downtime.

Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards.

Coordinate with contractors and other trades for larger maintenance projects.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Support general facilities upkeep including minor repairs and installations.

Support the operations and the infrastructure maintenance team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current Electrical License (QLD).

EWP ticket would be advantageous

Prior experience with the MEX maintenance management system or a similar platform will be highly regarded.

Demonstrated ability to perform the physical tasks required within the role, including sustained mobility and manual handling as needed.

Proven experience in commercial or industrial maintenance environments.

Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
