- Work a blend of both Morning and Afternoon shifts

- Maxima has been engaged to recruit 2 x Ongoing Casual Freight Handlers for work based at the Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine). These are full time hours working on a roster of both mornings and afternoons.

**About the role**

**_ Morning Shift_** approximate times 0400-1200 (penalty rates before 5.30 am)

**_ Afternoon Shift_** approximate times 1100-1900 (penalty rates after 6.30 pm)

Occasional Weekend work.

It’s a great opportunity to work in a fun and dynamic team in a progressive organisation that values the contribution of each individual.

Duties include:

- Unloading Freight
- Receipt of goods
- Following Food Safe and HACCP procedures
- Weighing / Checking / Quality Control
- Allocating freight to the correct dispatch location
- Packing orders - ready for air travel
- Loading Aircraft
- General Housekeeping and general duties consistent with the role

**About you**
- Physically fit frequent lifting of 15-kg parcels and fresh produce up to 25 kgs.
- You have the ability to pass a Federal Police Check
- Enjoy working in a Team Environment
- Ability to work independently and with purpose
- Own Reliable Transport with a current valid drivers’ licence
- Hold a current high risk forklift licence (preferred)
- Ability to work in a chilled environment with fresh meat / food products
