Information Security Manager

**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to build out and lead our data compliance initiatives. Your focus will be the security posture of Seer’s systems and processes. This is a pivotal role in enabling Seer’s success in bringing our innovative technology to the European and US markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building out the Information Security team within Seer
- Providing strategic leadership in the Information Security field
- Maintaining vulnerability assessment and management programs
- Managing incident response
- Creating and maintaining information security policies, processes and procedures
- Overseeing security and data privacy projects
- Creating a culture of information security and data protection
- Being an active member of the business’s development and growth

**About You**

We are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a similar role before and who has some or all of the following attributes:

- 3-5 years in an information security role as well as 1-2 years experience in a management role
- Experience and knowledge related to InfoSec compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HITRUST)
- Experience and knowledge related to GDPR (European data protection laws)
- Experience and knowledge related to HIPAA (US health data laws)
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, especially AWS
- Experience of information security requirements in regards to FDA (Food and Drug Administration) would be highly regarded
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM would be highly regarded
- Ability to work well in a diverse team with different backgrounds and experience levels
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently, or under direction as the situation requires
