**The Role**
Ventia are currently recruiting for Barista / Café Attendants to Provide great customer service within the Cafeteria at our DSTO, including: customer assistance, point of sale operation, making coffee as a Barista, basic food preparation, stacking shelves, cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment.
This role will see you based at DSTO Edinburgh in a permanent part time position, working rostered hours, anywhere between 7:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**
- Prepare kitchen & cafeteria areas for service prior to opening
- Provide great customer care including: welcoming customers, responding to customer requests in a timely and respectful manner
- Ensure customers are served in a professional and timely manner in food, beverage areas
- Monitor stock levels and re-stock items as required throughout the course of a shift

**Position Requirements**
- Barista operations training
- Basic kitchen experience
- Experience in hospitality and catering with a focus on coffee making.
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
