**About the Opportunities**:
MDS is seeking to employ experienced Behaviour Support Workers for our Edward House Community Based Program in Campbelltown. These positions are responsible for supporting people with a disability with daily living skills, community inclusion and participation activities. These roles would be well suited to someone who has experience working with Behaviours of concern and are passionate about supporting others.

Key Responsibilities for these positions include:

- Supporting people with a disability and their family/carers in achieving life learning, recreation, employment and educational goals and aspirations
- Engage with people with complex care needs, including behaviour support, to support achievement and encourage further independence
- Provide personal care, living skills, transport, other services and support.

The successful applicant will have:

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Qualification - current within 3 years
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - current within 12 months
- NSW Driver's Licence (P1 or above)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Capacity to drive company vans
- Capacity to obtain LR licence within 3 months of employment
- A passion for supporting others
- Experience and desire to support individuals that display behaviours of concern
- Desirable: Training in Administration of Midazolam

We have 3 positions available:

- Support worker with experience in working with Behaviours of Concern x 2
- Support worker with experience in working with Behaviours of Concern - Male Only x 1

Both positions are permanent part time for 65 hours per fortnight (Mon-Fri 8:30am-3pm) community based commencing from Campbelltown. These roles are covered under the SCHCADS Award Level 2 ($33.41 - $36.46 per hour). Also offered is Sick leave, Annual leave, leave loading, First aid allowance and Salary Packaging.
