As the Health & Safety Manager for GB, you will work collaboratively with GB to address risks, communicate objectives and ensure staff are skilled and aware in relation to WHS issues. This role is also responsible for ensuring the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.

**Here's a glimpse of what your role will entail**:

- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
- Reviewing WHS Policies annually as programmed in the Promapp system
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
- Prepare health and safety policies and monitor compliance by inspecting employees and operations
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
- Provide additional impromptu training & awareness to visiting external parties regarding GB WHS policies

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in large organisation as a WHS Manager
- Tertiary level qualification in WHS (Work Health and Safety) at Diploma level or higher is highly desirable
- Strong influencing and consulting skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
