**The opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced Retail Stock Control Assistant to join our team in
** Perth **on a full-time permanent basis
**. **The Stock Control Assistant is a critical role responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining accurate inventory records within Culture Kings retail stores. This position involves overseeing stock levels, conducting stock audits, and coordinating stock movements to ensure optimal product availability for customers.The roster requirements for this position are Monday to Friday.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, ensuring products are available to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and the stock control team to facilitate timely stock replenishment and maintain optimal product availability on the shop floor.
- Coordinate stock movements between the stockroom and the shop floor, ensuring efficient and accurate stock handling.
- Establish and maintain stock control procedures, including stock counting, stock rotation, and reconciling stock discrepancies. Regularly review and update these procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in inventory management or stock control, preferably in a retail environment highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize stock control processes.
- Knowledge of stockroom organization, product handling, and storage best practices.
