We are seeking a smart, passionate associate level lawyer to join the Brisbane based practice. $100,000 - $150,000 Plus Super

Joining this close-knit practice working alongside the Partner and senior lawyers in the team will ensure your ongoing learning and professional development. You will be exposed to a broad range of complex and interesting matters on both the coverage and defence side.

There are three complementary components to this practice:

- **General Professional Indemnity**: On the professional indemnity side, defending claims against professionals including accountants, valuers, IT professionals, barristers and engineers;
- **Construction Professional Indemnity**: Defence of construction professionals. Extends to D&C contractors, engineers and architects in multimillion dollar, multi-party litigation in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria;
- **Coverage**: Advising on coverage and monitoring of claims for construction professionals, D&C contractors and various professionals for both Australian and London based underwriters.

The nature and size of the team will mean that you are heavily involved in all aspects of matters allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome. This role will allow you to continue to develop your professional and personal brand.

**About You**
You will be an established Associate level lawyer in Australia
- A strong commercial litigation background gained from a leading private practice law firm
- Ideally exposure to some or all of the types of matters detailed above
- Strong academic credentials, self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently
- Commercial awareness and desire to grow and develop under the guidance of the Partner and senior lawyers in building rapport with clients to gain a better understanding of their business' needs
- Desire to work in a positive team and office atmosphere.
- Admitted to practice in Queensland
- Experienced in practicing in Queensland
