Working as a Digital Media & Optimization lead, the focus of your role will be to improve presence and engagement with IHG brands across paid media and organic digital channels.
In your role, you will be tasked with development, execution and analysis & optimization of Always On media strategies, as well as responding to tactical Campaign and Brand activation briefs.
You will be a central point of contact for the broader Marketing team, Promotions and Category teams, to ensure integrated approach to IHG communications across digital media channels, as well as maximizing opportunities to increase organic visibility of IHG brands & suppliers at the “right time, to right customer”.
What you'll do
- Create, execute and optimise a range of paid media strategies geared to drive traffic to IHG websites, deliver on eCom sales objectives, and support our wider Brand awareness efforts.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing team, on specific briefs to support Brand, LAM and Trade engagement initiatives and campaigns. Provide clearly articulated media strategies and media investment plans including well defined KPIs and measures of success.
- Work closely with the Loyalty and Marketing Automation team to connect paid activity with CDP segments and journeys, to further optimise media investment and improve ROAS.
- Manage relationships with agency partners, paid media, SEO and technical agencies (and internal technical stakeholders) to ensure consistency of focus and collaboration between all parties.
- Take ownership of the website content development stream of work, including optimisation of Product & Category content, as well as broader content initiatives. Work “as one” with respective stakeholders from Marketing, Category, Promotions team to enhance website content, and drive improved engagement with the website.
What you'll bring
- Experience in a Digital media and /or SEO role, agency, or brand side.
- Experience managing external media agencies.
- Hands-on experience with digital media management across both Performance and Brand activities
- A solid understanding of tracking and measurement principles via Google Analytics, UTM tags, conversion and event tracking (Facebook/LinkedIn pixels, Google Remarketing tags etc)
- Ability to consult with internal & external stakeholders to help understand requirements, design product roadmaps & deliver products that meet customer and business expectations.
- Strategic mindset and an ability to communicate a vision with passion for digital media space and digital customer experience overall.
