**About the role**:
In this role you will support the managing, upskilling and governing the first line Retail use of the HSE & Risk System. (The role will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and the system is both fit for purpose and actively engage in initiatives to ensure continuous improvement with 2nd line functions.

The role will be responsible for routine governance activities including compiling Retail board reporting and documentation management across Retail with focus on the Risk, Assurance, Health and Safety functions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- ensuring data integrity of system is maintained through reviewing incidents, Management of Change and data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Leading the development of training of Cintellate in Retail on a routine basis
- Coordinating continuous improvement of Cintellate functions with SMEs to ensure the system meets the needs of key Retail stakeholders
- Assisting risk roles with ensuring the risk system is set up correctly through periodic testing and enhancements and establishment of Operational Excellence metrics
- Lead weekly governance on tracked action management across Retail including monthly overdue reports for Retail Leadership Team
- Review legislative updates across Health, Safety and Compliance and provide Risk & Assurance Manager and National Health and Safety Manager

**About you**

You will be an individual who has a high level of integrity as you will be working autonomously to uncover risks and engage with key stakeholders. You will enjoy identifying areas for improvement through audits, reporting and seeking feedback from the business.

We are ideally looking for an outcome focused individual with Tertiary qualification in risk, safety or compliance management disciplines or previous experience (5 years) in risk and/or safety function

**Key skills and experience**:

- Proficient in data governance and project management
- Ability to write high quality reports and strong presentation skills
- experience using safety related systems to drive analytics
- Strong knowledge of HSSE legislation and industry standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in system design and management of a HSSE system - including risk management, incident investigation, environmental management
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Sharepoint administration with strengths in Excel
