**The Role**
Ventia are seeking to engage a Trades Assistant to support our team on our Defence contract. This role will see you effectively provide administration support to the Estate Upkeep team to maintain, repair, replace and ensure the integrity and performance of equipment and facilities. This role will see you based at Edinburgh Defence Precinct in a permanent fulltime position.

**Your duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the field as required
- Being a standby person for High Risk permitted works
- Escorting visitors around the base as required
- Be the first point of contact/direction for visitors and contractors entering the office.
- Manage work order status and support Estate Upkeep Supervisors to ensure on time delivery
- Provide administrative support to Estate Upkeep team
- Assist with Stakeholder and Subcontractor relationships

**Requirements**:

- SA Driver's License
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Ability to extract, format and interpret data
- SAP & UI5 experience - desirable
- Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
- Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance
