**About the Patient Experience Unit**:
The Unit is a key component of the Patient Safety and Clinical Excellence Division, and is located within the Directorate of the Chief Medical Officer. We facilitate innovative systems to support continuous improvement in the care of patients/consumers, and achievement of Austin Health’s organisational goals.

**About the role**:
As the Consumer Partner Lead you will work alongside key stakeholders to promote a culture of consumer partnership across Austin Health, and develop collaborative, productive and effective relationships. You will develop, implement, and maintain processes to ensure Austin Health partners with consumers at all levels of the organisation.

A regular day will see you:

- Manage consumer partner recruitment, including all onboarding and orientation requirements
- Support staff to partner with consumers on committees, working groups, project teams, education activities and other opportunities
- Coordinate training, mentoring and support for all consumer partners who participate across Austin Health
- Develop and maintain communications and resources for consumer partners and staff, including: intranet pages, the consumer partner portal, website and social media platforms

**About you**:
You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who takes a collaborative approach to their work. You’ll be proactive and self-directed, with strong organisational and time management skills.

You’ll bring with you:

- Experience working in health care
- Experience in recruitment, performance management and staff retention
- Demonstrated understanding of community partnering and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent presentation and Office 365 skills
