We are seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team and help us train and assess individuals in the mining industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that focus on safety, operational efficiency, and best practices.

**Your role**:
Reporting to the Lead Trainer Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering traineeships across a number of key Hunter Valley sites, at both an individual and group level. With a firm focus on continuous improvement and key deliverables, you will be committed to strong trainee and on-site management engagement ensuring legislative compliance and student completion rates are met, if not exceeded.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering Vocational Educational Training across various Hunter Valley mine sites
- Developing, delivering and assessing resources to ensure value and fit for purpose
- Scheduling programs and assessments without compromising on site daily production targets
- Committing to, if not exceeding student completion rate targets
- Complying with legislative requirements in line with Australian Qualification Training Framework, state registration and funding bodies

**Your skills**:

- Minimum 3-5 years Trainer Assessor experience on a mine site
- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - essential
- RII30120 - Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations - highly regarded
- Current Standard 11 certificate - highly regarded
- Current Haul truck qualification and minimum 5 years experience
