We have an exciting new opportunity for a **Regional Manager; Business Banking** with a flair for relationship development and leadership, to provide support our Bankers across NSW / ACT. As an integral part of our leadership team, you will be comfortable providing hands on management and business banking support to our teams and customers.

**About the Role**
- Provide coaching and development to build capability, succession, and to address skill gaps of your team.
- Motivate teams to achieve and sustain a level of performance and engagement
- Develop and implement regional strategies and business plans annually to support the growth and development of business within your region
- Monitor service delivery through the use of reports and observations and working with Business Banking Mangers to improve the member experience
- As an IMB ‘brand ambassador’, build contacts, attend events and identify opportunities to gain referral and business opportunities that are in line with business objectives
- Manage regional expenses in line with budget

**About You**
- 10 years+ commercial banking experience, with a deep understanding of SME challenges and banking needs and a strong understanding of commercial credit including transactions up to $15m
- A demonstrated ability in leading teams of relationship managers within a collaborative, inclusive and performance-based culture
- Experience managing operational and financial risk and people related matters with experience in managing a workforce across multiple locations
- External business development and coaching skills with a strong emphasis on small business owner engagement, professional services referrers, and broker groups
- Strategic planning capability and delivery of business-to-business sales and marketing strategies
