**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Portfolio analyst in the Product and Solutions team within the Customer Strategy & Experience branch. The primary purpose of the role is to establish and manage the Digital Products dashboard to provide fact-based information and metric tracking to ensure that Product Managers are informed to make better decisions, determine effectiveness and quality of initiatives and assist with prioritisation of products and product features. This involves coordinating support services in a climate of constantly changing and competing stakeholder requirements and priorities. You will be a part of a team which works together to provide the best possible service to various teams within Transport that are working towards improving the lives of customers and communities by making their journeys safer and efficient.

**What you would be involved in**:

- The ultimate purpose is to provide excellent service that delivers value and meets system and operational requirements. The role involves working on:
- Contribute to strategic planning that balances multiple demands and initiatives from across the Transport Cluster, with sensitivity to relationships with stakeholders and impacts on project delivery
- Work with the Product Managers to enable them to prioritise, review and monitor their initiatives
- Conduct research, and source, collate and compile information to support analysis of associated data and enable informed decision-making.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for product usage and other requests for internal usage and reporting
- Model collegiate and collaborative behaviours to achieve the greater good for the community, celebrate a diverse workforce, create an environment where people can innovate and thrive, and support people’s wellbeing.

**About you**

You are a self-driven, proactive, motivated and autonomous analytics practitioner. The applicant must be able to demonstrate skills such as accountability, judgement and decision making, customer service capability, advanced knowledge and skills in data analytics tools and data visualisation, personal timekeeping and management skills and an ability to adapt. Experience in in interpreting complex data and conveying information to non-technical users in a large complex environment will set you up for success.

Please note that this is a Transport Service Grade 7 $106,086 - $118,816 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
