Our client based South of the River is seeking and Injury Management or WHS Advisor to commence as soon as possible. This is an ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows but not limited to:

- Identifying and implementing Injury prevention strategies
- Administering and coordinating fitness for work plans
- Overseeing the injury management and return to work process
- Developing and documenting processes to improve work health and safety management
- Undertake any other Health and Safety related projects as requested
- Working in accordance with the Worker's Compensation and Injury Management Act

To be successful in this role you should possess the following:

- Professional qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
- Current relevant experience in return to work and injury management in a medium to large organisation;
- Completion of Return to Work Coordinator Training;
- Demonstrated experience and ability to engage and negotiate with key stakeholders
- Proficient computer skills and experience in maintaining accurate and confidential records;
- Sound knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Good time management and organisational abilities
