The Prescription Medicines Authorisation Branch (PMAB) is seeking an enthusiastic APS4 Procurement Officer to work as part of a small team responsible for the coordination and management of procurement activities in relation to external evaluation resources for the Health Products Regulation Group (TGA).

The APS 4 Procurement Officer is a key member of a small team and works closely with the APS5 Procurement Advisor. The Procurement Officer supports the APS5, contributing to the overall external evaluation procurement process, as well as being responsible for specific tasks including procurement tasks, stakeholder liaison, as well as work-flow tracking and reporting.

The Procurement Officer role sits within the Application and Advisory Management Section and the key duties of the position include:

- Administrative processing, contract management and ongoing support for all external evaluator consultancy contracts across Health Products Regulation Group (TGA).
- Performing procurement reporting activities using Expenditure Management in SAP ESS and maintaining the Financial Register for all External Expenditure for end of month accruals;
- Liaising with internal staff such as the case managers and delegates on a daily basis regarding submission types and evaluation timeframes; and
- Providing ad-hoc advice to staff on any queries that arise relating to procurement, contract management or external evaluators.
