Electrical Scheduler

Chandler Macleod has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Scheduler to join one of the world's leading Gold Mining companies. This role is based on our client's gold mine working a 5/2,4/3 DIDO roster on a 9-hour day. Join our client, a highly reputable company within the mining industry, and elevate your career.

Key Accountabilities

Functional Scheduling
- Maintain current maintenance Plans and schedule work in conjunction with the Long Term Planners and planners.
- Develop schedules in conjunction with services and mechanical schedulers.
- Efficiently running scheduling meetings with suppliers and maintainers.
- Very good knowledge of SAP

Reporting
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Maintain short term (0-3 month outage calendar)

Budget Preparation/Cost Management Control
- Provide input into budget preparation process.
- Monitor and control overhead charges.

Project Participation
- Ensure that all company safety requirements are included in work packs of primary and secondary tasks lists.
- Liaison with Warehouse and purchasing personnel.
- Demonstrable commitment to strive for environmental and safety excellence.

Administration Functions
- Experience in the setting up and maintain an effective Computerised Maintenance System.
- Maintain good history on all maintenance related documents.
- Experienced in SAP and maintenance related systems and Microsoft packages.
- Maintain and improve the scheduling functions.
- Manage SAP PRT's for QA/QC.

Safety and Environment
- Participate and contribute to safe practice and environmental and Social Responsibility awareness.
- Demonstrate personal commitment in regard to safety, and environmental and Social Responsibility practices.
- Identification of potential hazards and action that is appropriately taken.
- Maintenance of a high standard of efficiency, safety and effectiveness.
- Raising, discussion and resolution of safety, environmental and Social Responsibility issues at regular meetings.

About You:

- Electrical Trade or engineering background is essential
- Previous mine site experience
- Previous experience scheduling and planning electrical maintenance for mine site infrastructure
- Proficient SAP skills
- Reliable transport and drivers licence to commute to work each week.
