State government organisation is seeking a ICT Security Analyst for an ASAP start.

**Your new company**

Your new company is a state government organisation seeking an ICT Security Analyst, your company plays an integral part to WA’s construction and maintenance of government buildings and management of key state projects.

**Your new role**

You will develop, maintain and manage ICT security standards processes and procedures and assist stakeholders, service providers and internal and external clients with general security service tickets and incidents.

You will manage and administer ICT Security measures which are in place for the Department:

- Vulnerability management
- Malware prevention and detection
- Threat prevention and detection
- Security auditing and logging solutions
- Cloud based security platforms
- Cloud based endpoint management platforms
- ICT GRC management platform.

You will assess and implement new ICT security solutions to enhance existing ICT Security capability.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Working experience and understanding of cloud-based security solutions relevant in MS Azure and MS O365 platform.
- Demonstrated ability to provide assistance, advice and process guidance to a range of stakeholders, with regards to ICT security matters
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and evaluation skills, with the ability to respond to urgent security incidents and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Well-developed planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of key ICT Security best practice standards, e.g. ISO 27k family, NIST cybersecurity framework
- Experience with solutions such as MS Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Intune or SCCM and Qualys are desired
- Possession of or progress towards a relevant certification/qualification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, Comptia Security+, CCSP or Microsoft cloud security certifications.
