**CTP Claims Officer**

**About the role**

RACQ’s CTP Insurance provides effective, sustainable, and fair claims management for people injured due to motor vehicle accidents.

- Effectively manage a portfolio of complex CTP claims through strategic planning and best practice claims management.
- Sound competency in all aspects of portfolio management including strategic planning, compliance with legislation, and time management to achieve optimum outcomes for injured claimants.
- Effectively facilitate reasonable and appropriate rehabilitation through early intervention with sound knowledge of injuries and medical concepts
- Assess quantum of damages and negotiate cost-effective outcomes.
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, claimants, and legal representatives.
- Represent RACQ at settlement conferences or other dispute resolution methods.

**About you**
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to strategically manage a portfolio of complex personal injury claims whilst consistently achieving compliance with the relevant legislation.
- Ability to facilitate reasonable and appropriate rehabilitation outcomes and return to work strategies.
- Sound competency in determining liability.
- High level analytical skills and the ability to interpret new information appropriately.
- Thorough knowledge, experience and understanding of personal injury legislation and litigation.
- Ability to influence claims outcomes through active listening and empathy.
- Able to make commercially astute decisions and assess damages in sensitive situations.
- Strong time management skills and ability to maintain data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
