This role will support the Treasury Services and Payments, Bank Reconciliation, and Replacement Payment teams, ensuring the successful delivery of various projects and business objectives. **Role Overview**:
As a Treasury Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of unclaimed monies, ensuring compliance with legislative and client requirements. You will collaborate with various teams, including those in Mumbai, to deliver payment projects and meet business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the unclaimed monies (UCM) process, including preparation, reconciliation, and lodgement with state revenue offices and ASIC.
- Ensure all payments are authorized and processed within permitted timeframes.
- Handle ASIC UCM claims for investors promptly.
- Maintain compliance with all legislative, client, state, and business requirements.
- Provide training and support to team members, including those in Mumbai.
- Address and resolve new requests/issues from clients, states, and the Client Relationship Group (CRG).
- Support internal collaboration with the bank reconciliation process.
- Reconcile and dispatch Dissenter cheques weekly, and manage stock for Dissenter and Replacement Payment cheques.
- Assist Project Managers in delivering payment projects, ensuring all deliverables are met, including:

- Scoping projects according to client requirements.
- Documenting project assumptions and identifying risk management areas.
- Preparing thorough project management documentation.
- Managing controls and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Liaising with mail houses to reconcile mailing files versus output.
- Ensuring compliance with ASX announcements and regulatory returns. Managing project costs effectively.**Experience & Personal Attributes**:

- Tertiary qualification in business, financial markets, or securities industry desirable
- Knowledge of the securities industry, financial markets, and relevant laws and rules.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects using project management techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and liaison with internal and external parties.
- High level of initiative, motivation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Experience in preparing and maintaining project budgets, analyzing financial information, and preparing management reports.
