**Fulltime State Sales Manager - NSW/ACT**

Wesbeam’s ideal State Sales Manager is a dynamic professional with a proven track record in building material sales. They possess a deep understanding of the NSW and ACT construction markets, excel in leadership and forge strong industry relationships. With strategic acumen, excellent communication, and utilising data-driven insights, they will drive revenue growth and shape the success of Wesbeam's engineered wood products across the region.

**Your duties will include**:

- Lead, mentor and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and product mix targets, securing the desired market share for NSW and ACT.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, assess market potential, and recommend strategies to capitalize on them.
- Foster strong relationships with key customers, builders, architects, and other stakeholders in the residential construction industry.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective product positioning and promotion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

**Essential Selection Criteria**:

- A minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience, showcasing a strong results-driven orientation through surpassing sales targets, adept negotiation, and insightful data analysis.
- Proven sales leadership skills, inspiring teams to excel and collaborate effectively.
- Extensive industry expertise encompassing NSW and ACT construction markets and the key stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset to identify opportunities, formulate sales plans, and drive revenue growth in line with company goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with customers, teams, and industry partners.

**Desired Selection Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the timber or building materials industry.
- Existing network and relationships within the NSW and ACT construction industry.
- Familiarity with LVL or engineered wood products.
- Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proof of current Australian working rights.
- A current driver's licence.
- A current white card.
- A current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain at own cost (essential).
- Ability to complete a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug and alcohol screening with the company’s provider.
