We are looking for a skilled
**Support Team Leader** to join our Federal Government client on a
**12 month contract **with view to extend working across a data focused program of work.

**The Support Team Leader is required to provide overall strategic leadership for the development and support of the CDR (Consumer Data Right) Participant community by**:

- Communicating with influence, especially when consulting with relevant communities and stakeholders.
- Creating meaning for different audiences by using analogies and stories to illustrate key points.
- Managing resource allocation, staff management, and performance across the extended Support Team, including partner agencies, especially for the delivery of advice, answers to questions, knowledge-base articles, and relevant industry-grade support artefacts, which need to be effectively prioritised and delivered within an environment of competing and dynamic expectations.
- Supporting CDR Participant implementations through various existing fora.
- As part of an integrated team, build and sustain an engaged CDR participant community, and provide them with sufficient Support Materials, for the purposes of contributing to increased adoption of the CDR, by:

- Anticipating risks, addressing them quickly, and helping others to recognise them.
- Encouraging stakeholders to work together and supporting cross-agency and cross-sectoral approaches to address issues and problems, especially during workshop facilitation.
- Considering multiple perspectives when assessing the ramifications of key issues, and problems.
- Managing and maintaining existing Support artefacts.
- Contributing to the wider development of the CDR regulatory framework by connecting standards development to our clients other CDR program priorities and responsibilities, and the work of other CDR agencies.

**Additionally, you will provide the Chair, the DSB’s Assistant Secretary, and other non-technical and technical stakeholders, with timely and high-quality advice, which reflects analysis of a broad range of issues, by**:

- Considering emerging trends and identifying long-term opportunities.
- Seeking to align Support and engagement activities with strategic priorities.
- Understanding the Data Standards’ current and potential future role within society.
- Understanding the cultural, social, historical and political factors affecting the CDR Participant community; and using this knowledge to tailor appropriate approaches to issues.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A minimum of 5 years relevant Product Support / Knowledge Management experience with an established background in business analysis and a high degree of proficiency in iterative development and strong knowledge of Agile principles.
- Ability to provide overall strategic leadership of the delivery of stakeholder engagement and support for the Consumer Data Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a regionally dispersed team of content developers.
- Outstanding communication skills. Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to engage productively with an extensive network of government and industry stakeholders, seeking feedback internally and externally and flexibly adjusting delivery as required to meet the needs of the Data Standards Body.

**Desirable experience**:

- Is familiar with tooling such as GitHub, Zen Desk, Miro, and Mailchimp for the purposes of engagement, consultation, and community management, and/or a proven ability to rapidly become proficient with relevant tooling.
