Support Worker

**The Role**

No day is the same, the Support Worker role is perfect for those who love being out and about, meeting and helping people. You will play an important part in assisting individuals to achieve their goals and maintain their well-being.

**Selection Criteria**
- A strong commitment to working with Indigenous people and communities, and a broad understanding of the issues experienced by Aboriginal people with a disability and their carers living in the community.
- Demonstrated skill in working with people with complex and challenging behaviours, and can maintain professional boundaries.
- Provide culturally safe mental health support to Indigenous clients, respecting traditions and values.
- All staff must have current a NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid & CPR, ABN and covid certification. A driver's license and car is required.
- Contractor insurances are also required, e.g., public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
