**Role**:
The role of Instrumental Music staff may include:
- Direct tuition of groups, or individual students.
- Assisting in the direction of various college music ensembles.
- Participating in such activities as staff meetings, concerts or excursions s required.
- Complying with the timetable and professional ethos of the school.
- Undertake other organisational duties as determined by by the School Principal and/or the director of Music
**Responsibilities**:
- To provide individual and group tuition to students from begining to advanced levels including VCE, on woodwind instruments that include clarinet and saxophone.
- Manage all administration for lessons and ensemble rehearsals and communication with students and parents including : enrolment, instrument hire and lesson scheduling.
- Manage and assist in the direction of woodwind ensemble rehearsals and prepare ensembles for performance.
- Assist and attend College performances and excursions as required.
- Attend whole school events and curriculum days pro-rata as required.
- Contribute to the development of a music culture in the College community.
- Work with the Director of Music to coordinate the allocation of students to instrumental music classes and oversee the maintenance, repair, purchase and replacement of relevant equipment and stocktake processes
