**About the Role**

The Compliance & Services Coordinator ensures that services are delivered in alignment with participants’ NDIS plans, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role is responsible for overseeing staff training, conducting internal audits, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines and practice standards. Additionally, the position plays a key role in identifying gaps in compliance and service delivery, developing and implementing strategies to address these areas, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining high standards of service quality and ensuring staff are well-trained in compliance requirements, this role helps drive best practices and operational excellence across the organization.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
It is paramount for all Staff of the organisation to comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct to support participants in ways that are respectful and inclusive, in addition to the below listed duties and responsibilities:
Compliance Oversight & Implementation
- Ensure services are delivered in alignment with NDIS guidelines, practice standards, and participants' NDIS plans.
- Identify gaps in compliance, develop corrective actions, and implement strategies to enhance service quality.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to internal policies, procedures, and industry
- regulations.

Internal Policies, Procedures & Documentation.
- Develop, implement, and review internal policies and procedures to maintain
- compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Identify risks and gaps, recommending and implementing strategies for corrective actions.
- Maintain records of audit findings, compliance reports, and improvement measures.

Service Quality & Meeting Client Goals
- Monitor service delivery to ensure it aligns with participant needs, goals, and NDIS
- funding requirements.
- Work with staff to implement participant-centered approaches that enhance service outcomes.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement to support the achievement of participant goals.

Incident Management & Reporting
- Ensure incidents and compliance breaches are reported, documented, and investigated.
- Support corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences and improve service
- delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in incident and risk reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Provide support to staff in understanding compliance obligations and service expectations.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and service providers when required.

Continuous Improvement & Strategy Implementation
- Identify trends in compliance and service delivery, implementing strategies to address gaps and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Support organizational growth by ensuring compliance frameworks evolve with
- changing regulations and industry developments.

This role ensures strong compliance practices, staff readiness, and high-quality service delivery that meets NDIS standards while supporting participant goals.

**Flexibility and Additional Responsibilities**:
In addition to the specific duties outlined in this position description, the role requires a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the dynamic needs of the organization. You may be assigned additional tasks or responsibilities to support organizational objectives, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with evolving priorities as deemed necessary and appropriate by the management.

**Essential Requirements**:
These documents ensure each staff member meets essential criteria for employment, adheres to regulatory requirements, and aligns with the organization’s standards of quality and professionalism.
- Eligibility to Work in Australia in the role allocated
- Current active ABN/ TFN (as applicable in the role)
- National Police Name Check
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Mandatory Inductions & Trainings
○ NDIS Worker Orientation Module
○ New Worker NDIS Induction Module
○ Covid Infection Control Module
- As Applicable for the role allocated:
○ Necessary Qualifications and Industry Body Registrations
○ Current Full Driver's License
○ Own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
○ First Aid, CPR & Other applicable inductions
