Big Ass Fans Sales Representative is responsible for the specification of our product within the new construction and reseller industries. The Sales Representative will provide airflow solutions to new construction influencers at all levels while also looking for ways to improve the overall client experience. This is a phone sales position with no cold calling required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a strong knowledge base of all Big Ass Fans product ranges
- Respond and qualify sales leads in the contractor lead queue
- Offer a solutions based sales approach by listening and answering the client’s questions
- Promptly record client details & conversation notes into our CRM for future reference
- Create, review and send sales proposals to specifiers, wholesalers, and contractors
- Liaise with our OSR team should a facility specific visit be requested or required by the client
- Actively follow up with open opportunities to build accurate sales pipeline
- Negotiate and close orders by collecting payment via credit card, bank remittance, purchase order, or signed quote
- Pro-actively source and develop client referrals to cultivate new business
- Minimize sales errors by maintaining an exceptional level of database integrity
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a successful sales role
- Previous experience working in a Call Centre environment
- Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce)
- Exceptional computer literacy skills
- Knowledge of basic business to business sales
- Self-starter salesperson with a hunter mentality
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
