**What Will You Be Doing?**

As a Manufacturing Test Technician, you will provide key technical support in the production process to maintain and enhance product quality and throughput. This role will involve working closely with design engineers to address technical challenges and implement changes into production. You will also assist in the setup and maintenance of testing equipment, support new product introductions, and ensure optimal testing facilities for production.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide general technical product support to manufacturing personnel to facilitate the maintenance of (and where possible, the improvement of) product quality and throughput.
- Interface with design engineers to resolve product technical issues.
- Implement test and design change into production
- Perform test equipment maintenance and calibration processes.
- Construct test equipment for improvement, production capacity increase and redesign projects.
- Monitor and resolve production test failures of both equipment and product.
- Debug and repair electronic test equipment and product.
- Collaborate with test engineering to construct test jigs and fixtures during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure that designs are suitable for manufacturing and test.
- Install and commission appropriate facilities including test equipment, jigs and fixtures.

**What Makes a Successful Manufacturing Test Technician?**

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Strong skills in circuit analysis, fault finding, and electronic assembly (IPC Standard).
- Knowledge of test instrument operation and process automation.
- A practical mindset with a strong commitment to maintaining high work standards.
- Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
