Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager Aged Care will provide leadership to 14 residential aged care homes ensuring sound governance and operational performance across clinical care, people management, risk management and quality of care to residents and their families. This pivotal role is working for a values driven and multi-faceted not for profit organisation based in Victoria.

We are seeking a transformational leader who brings experience leading a large scale or multi-site clinical service, with key skills in leading staff through change, building capability and driving service excellence. In addition, you will demonstrate sound commercial acumen and the ability to build and foster effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing, health or business management + Post Graduate qualifications in business or leadership.
- Experience gained in health, aged care or any related service industry
- Experience working as part of a senior management team and leading a large-scale service operation across multiple locations.
- Commercially astute and a proven track record leading services to be financially sustainable.
- Highly developed people management skills and the ability to engage, coach, and develop a high performing team.
- Effective change management skills and demonstrable experience leading service improvements, workforce changes, and/or sector reforms.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate, influence and respectfully communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proven track record of maintaining service standards including a high level of customer satisfaction, risk management and quality standards.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence

This position has scope and scale, but is well supported by two roving Clinical Managers and will work in partnership with the General Manager Hospitality (non clinical) Services across the portfolio.
