**Job Summary**:
The Building Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining of our Forrestfield premises buildings and yard maintenance requirements. This is a hands on role including performing various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This is a critical role in the business providing reactive and non-reactive maintenance repairs maintaining to ensure we maintain and meet our operational and audit requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning and office relocations.
- Painting including interior blocks, doors, gates and any other areas as necessary.
- Replacing /Patching where required such as cool room panels, Gyprock, Bitumen hardstand etc.
- Changing / fixing tapware, doors.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for projects.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Coordination of building maintenance schedules and work programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

A requirement for regional travel to country depots will be required up to a week at a time as and when required.

**To be successful for this role applicants must**:

- 3 + years previous experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Preferably a trade background with a good understanding of building maintenance including formulating scopes of work, scheduling, liaising with contractors and undertaking quality audits.
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
- High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to operate common hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have great attitude and a willingness to work.
- Forklift ticket is required
- White Card
- Be reliable with high attendance record.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
