A leading Telco infrastructure client requires a telecommunications technician to join their growing team.

**Role Description**:

- Working autonomously and in a team

providing technical direction to the Radio and Wireless teams
- Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Field Supervisor
- Coordinate site project activity
- Ensure adherence to QEHS regulations, and quality standards
- Experience in performing installation, integration, testing and commissioning of communications projects
- Demonstrated experience in planning, installation and commissioning of various telecommunication projects
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Assist with completion of associated documentation in line with clients’ procedures & quality standards
- Effectively plan and organise projects including required equipment, materials and site access arrangements

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Certificate III, IV or Associate Diploma in Telecommunications and/or equivalent field
- High level of computer skills
- Drivers licence
- Extensive knowledge of mobile communications, broadband and broadcasting
- CPR and First Aid
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Strong QEHS understanding
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work in isolated and remote areas
- Be available for travel and overtime when required
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods
