About the role..
As the Billing and Support Administrator, you’ll be central to the financial health and operational success of our clinic. From generating daily invoices to reconciling payments and liaising with key stakeholders, your work will directly support our ability to deliver quality services to clients.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Billing & Invoicing - Generate and issue accurate daily invoices across NDIS, Medicare, and private funding. Upload claims to the NDIA portal and manage bulk payments.
Reconciliation & Remittance - Reconcile payments across bank accounts and PracSuite. Resolve discrepancies and rejected claims.
Debtor Management - Maintain records of outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and escalate as needed. Prepare aged debtor reports.
Stakeholder Communication - Liaise with plan managers, coordinators, and internal teams to confirm billing. Respond to billing queries professionally.
Compliance & Documentation - Ensure billing aligns with NDIS, Medicare, and clinic policies. Keep financial records accurate and up to date.
System Support - Maintain PracSuite data accuracy and support billing process improvements.
About You...
You are a confident communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You thrive in structured environments, enjoy working with numbers, and are comfortable juggling multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a billing, accounts, or administrative role (healthcare or NDIS experience highly regarded)
Strong understanding of NDIS, Medicare, and private billing processes
Proficiency in invoicing, reconciliation, and debt management
Experience using practice management software (PracSuite experience a bonus)
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
