Operational Risk Lead

**YOUR ROLE**
This is an exciting time to join our Product, Pricing & Governance team to help lead and drive the efficient and effective management of operational risk across the Direct Insurance Australia Division (DIA).

You'll be required to assign, oversee and undertake all risk identification, mitigation and reporting alongside business owners aligned to the IAG Risk strategies, frameworks and statements as well as being a visible advocate for driving risk maturity uplift and improvement in our risk culture across DIA.

A critical success factor for this role will be the ability to engage and communicate broadly across IAG to influence enhancement for our business risk and control environment.

**This is a 12 month max-term opportunity and can be based in either Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.**

**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive experienced as a risk management professional
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a risk enviornment
- Strong understanding of the key parameters and decision factors in managing risk effectively.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing Risk and Assurance learning frameworks.
- Ability to effectively participate and manage relationships in a senior team environment.
